This position is open to college students in their Junior or Senior year, graduate students, and law students who have completed their first year of law school. The Investigator Intern role is unpaid, but job-related mileage expenses are reimbursed. In addition, the New Hampshire Department of Safety will assist and reimburse the fee for obtaining a private investigator’s license. Applicants must submit a cover letter and unofficial transcript to be considered for this position. ## Overview of 2024 Summer Investigator Intern (Undergrad) Organization is offering an Investigator Internship Program for college students in their junior or senior year, graduate students, and law students who have completed their first year of law school. This position is unpaid, but job-related mileage expenses are reimbursed. The Investigator Intern role offers a unique opportunity to work closely with staff attorneys and their clients. Responsibilities include interviewing witnesses, writing reports, taking photographs, diagramming crime scenes, delivering subpoenas to witnesses, and gathering records and other documents essential to the defense. In addition, interns assist attorneys in preparing for hearings and trials, and help clients obtain treatment for substance abuse or mental health issues. ## Requirements In order to apply for this position, applicants must meet the following requirements: - - Must be a licensed driver and have an insured vehicle - Must obtain a private investigator’s license through the New Hampshire Department of Safety - Must work at least twenty hours a week for at least ten weeks ## Application Process Applicants must submit a cover letter and unofficial transcript to be considered for this position.
