# Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager

PwC is looking for a Partner Tax Preparation Advisors Tax Manager to join their Internal Tax team. This role will provide taxation services related to financial services, treasury and taxation. As a Manager, the successful candidate will be part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.

## Requirements and Preferences

The successful candidate will have the following qualifications and preferences:

**Basic Qualifications:**

- Bachelor Degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4+ years of experience
- CPA, Enrolled Agent or Member of the Bar

**Preferred Qualifications:**

- Master Degree
- Demonstrates abilities and/or a record of success as a team leader
- Demonstrates understanding of Partnership K-1 income, state tax credits, composite returns, Schedules A,B,C,D, E and year end planning
- Leverages a network of internal stakeholders and external resources to meet the needs of and service a client-base of partners and principals within a global network of professional services firms
- Manages and performs individual tax compliance/reviews and planning for executives, preferably for a global network of professional services firms
- Utilizes firm-issued technologies, ., Microsoft Office (Word, Excel PowerPoint, SharePoint, etc), Google at Work (Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive), etc.
- Leverages technical skills with reviewing individual tax returns and tax planning for partners within a firm or executives, especially identifying and addressing client tax issues
- Identifies a broad range of planning issues that are applicable to the partner and directs them to the appropriate internal resources for assistance
- Leads and collaborates with team members virtually, including managing and supporting the work/life balance of the team
- Builds and maintains robust client relationships at the executive level
- Manages a team by leading teams to create an atmosphere of trust
- Seeks diverse views to encourage improvement and innovation
- Coaches staff, including providing timely meaningful written and verbal feedback
- Utilizes project management and communication skills, including managing resource requirements, project workflow, budgets
- Prepares, coordinates, reviews and presents complex written and verbal materials
- Works within various tax preparation software and on-line tax organizers, especially leading executives to understand and use various proprietary software and websites
- Researching complex individual tax issues
- Leads on-going change and leveraging new technology
- Demonstrates success as tax technical business advisor, including developing new relationships
- Demonstrates knowledge of automation & digitization in a professional services environment
- Innovates through new and existing technologies and experimenting with digitization solutions
- Works with large, complex data sets to build models and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients
- Utilizes digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements
