A law firm in New York City is seeking a highly skilled Senior Corporate Healthcare Regulatory Associate Attorney to provide critical guidance to clients in the healthcare sector. The candidate will have the opportunity to work with dynamic healthcare clients, advising them on regulatory compliance, defending against government investigations, and structuring strategic transactions.

 

Duties:

  • Collaborate with attorneys and clients to provide guidance on regulatory requirements in the healthcare sector.
  • Advise clients on compliance with Stark Law, Anti-Kickback Statute, Medicare conditions of participation, and state regulatory restrictions.
  • Handle day-to-day compliance counseling, government investigations, litigation, and strategic transactions.
  • Provide expertise in HIPAA, healthcare privacy, data breach, Knox-Keene, digital health, telehealth, healthcare technology transactions, ACOs, and Medicare Direct Contracting Enterprise program.

 

Requirements:

  • 5-7 years of experience focusing on regulatory matters in the healthcare sector.
  • Admission to the Bar in the state.
  • Outstanding academic credentials from an accredited law school.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

Admission to the Bar in the state.

 

Skills:

  • Familiarity with key healthcare regulatory requirements.
  • Excellent oral communication, writing, research, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to take ownership of projects and work effectively as a team member.
  • Strong client communication skills.
