Responsibilities:

- Provide partnership tax services to Baker Tilly, including tax preparation, planning, and consulting.
- Work closely with firm leadership to build the business and have a direct impact on the firm's success.
- Collaborate with a team to provide a holistic approach to tax planning and compliance.
- Serve as a trusted business advisor to find creative solutions to complex accounting and business challenges.
- Enjoy a steady schedule year-round without the large peaks of busy season.
- Grow professionally and develop client service and technical accounting skills for endless career opportunities.
- Participate in tax research projects, draft IRS responses, and address other tax authority inquiries.
- Team with leaders on special projects in various areas of flow through taxation.
- Communicate and collaborate with specialty tax practices on complicated tax matters.
- Learn and grow from on-the-job coaching and mentoring, as well as firm-wide learning and development programs.
- Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally.
- Support the growth and development of team members through the Baker Tilly Care and Teach philosophy.
- Enjoy a work-life balance through friendships, social activities, and team outings.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in accounting, law, or a related degree in business.
- Sufficient course work and credits to sit for the CPA and/or Bar exam in the state being considered.
- CPA license preferred.
- 1+ years of experience providing federal tax compliance and consulting services in a public accounting firm preferred.
- Demonstrated skills in time management, communication, interpersonal relationships, collaboration, and problem-solving.
- Strong leadership, project management, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite.
- No immigration sponsorship available for this position.

Additional Information:

- For California, Colorado, New York, and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $61,070 to $105,480, with actual compensation influenced by factors such as skills, experience, qualifications, and location.
- This role is eligible for an annual bonus plan.
