The Matian Firm, APC is currently seeking an experienced Criminal Defense Attorney to join our team in Seattle. This is an excellent opportunity for an admitted attorney to further their career with a premier law firm and gain valuable experience in complex criminal cases. As an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our Managing Criminal Defense Attorney and collaborate with our team of dedicated attorneys and legal assistants.

Responsibilities:

As an Associate Criminal Defense Attorney at The Matian Firm, APC, you will have the following responsibilities:

Advise clients on their legal rights and draw up legal documents related to their case
Attend pretrial hearings and provide clients with strategic advice following each hearing
Manage court appearances, trials, and other legal proceedings
Analyze potential outcomes of cases using knowledge of legal precedents
Manage a caseload and provide legal analysis for clients to determine potential case benefits
Gather additional evidence to support clients' cases or to argue against prosecution charges
Prepare clients for depositions and gather information from witnesses and experts to support case strategy

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Associate Criminal Defense Attorney position, candidates should have the following qualifications:

2-5 years of experience in Criminal Defense
Experience handling complex criminal cases at the federal, state, and local level
Team player with a willingness to collaborate and strategize with fellow associates
Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred, but not required
Excellent interpersonal skills
