Business Attorney (Corporate Counsel)

New Pig is currently seeking a full-time Business Attorney to join our team at our headquarters in Tipton, PA. As a key member of our in-house counsel, you will be responsible for providing legal advice and support to our leadership team and executive officers. Responsibilities:
- Provide legal support and advice to the company's leadership team and executive officers on various legal rights, responsibilities, and obligations
- Work closely with executive management to understand corporate objectives and provide advisory support
- Engage external counsel as needed and coordinate efforts in areas such as corporate law, contract law, intellectual property, real estate law, and employment law
- Review legal agreements and make recommendations for successful execution, creating tasks for responsible individuals and following up for completion
- Assist with the execution of documents for mergers and acquisitions
- Develop and implement a plan to audit contract compliance and ensure all corporate documents are in good order
- Utilize technology and contract management software to receive, document, and execute contracts
- Organize and file legal documents and correspondence

Qualifications:
- Juris doctorate and successful passing of the bar exam
- Active license from the State Bar Association
- Experience in business law
- Willingness to work onsite at New Pig headquarters in Tipton, PA
- Strong sense of initiative and motivation
- Ability to make timely and tough business decisions
- Comfortable operating in a complex, global environment while driving and influencing results
- Strong research skills
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to develop detailed reports and correspondence and effectively communicate with diverse groups of people
- Strong operational and financial acumen
- Broad understanding of fundamental business principles and analytical problem-solving skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Knowledge of and experience with ERP systems and process tools
