Duties:

  • Represent clients in immigration proceedings, including but not limited to family-based petitions, adjustment of status, consular processing, waivers, asylum, and removal defense
  • Prepare and file immigration applications, petitions, motions, and briefs with various government agencies
  • Conduct legal research and draft legal memoranda on immigration issues
  • Provide strategic advice and counsel to clients regarding immigration matters
  • Attend immigration interviews, hearings, and court proceedings as necessary
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date case files and client records

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Law (.) from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association
  • 1 year of verifiable immigration law experience (2+ years preferred)
  • Bilingual (Spanish and English) - preferred
  • Ability to handle a high volume of cases efficiently and effectively
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Demonstrated commitment to client service and satisfaction

Education & Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • Active membership in good standing with the State Bar Association
