New York City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks mid-level labor and employment associate attorney with 4-7 years of experience. The candidate will regularly represent clients in mediation, arbitration, grievance proceedings, collective bargaining, and litigation in state and federal court and before local, state, and federal agencies. Will have daily consultation with clients on the administration of collective bargaining agreements as well as compliance with local, state, and federal laws and HR-related matters. Assist in the negotiation and drafting of collective bargaining agreements, employment agreements, non-disclosure agreements, settlement and separation agreements, bulletins, and memoranda. Draft memoranda and client alerts on changes in the law and best practices. Conduct training and webinars on sexual harassment prevention, labor-management training, wage and hour compliance, and other areas. Attend Board of Trustees and Committee meetings of Benefit Fund and Trade Association clients. Perform labor and employment law due diligence on corporate transactions. Review, update, and draft policies and employee handbooks. Litigation experience involving labor and employment matters is essential. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications and Westlaw essential. California State Bar admission is required.
