A law firm in New York City is seeking a Patent Prosecution Associate/Of Counsel with 5+ years of biotechnology experience. The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and prosecuting patent applications, conducting patent landscape analysis, freedom-to-operate, non-infringement, and invalidity analysis, as well as IP due diligence. Additionally, the candidate will mentor junior patent agents.

Duties:

• Prepare and prosecute patent applications.
• Conduct patent landscape analysis.
• Perform freedom-to-operate, non-infringement, and invalidity analysis.
• Conduct IP due diligence.
• Mentor junior patent agents.

Requirements:

• Advanced degree in biology, chemistry, biochemistry, immunology, pharmacology, or chemistry.
• Admission to the Patent Bar.

Experience:

5+ years of biotechnology experience.
