- Represent and defend State prosecutions in criminal appeals in the five state courts of appeal, the Florida Supreme Court, and federal courts
- Handle death penalty litigation statewide before the Florida Supreme Court and federal courts
- Provide legal assistance to state attorneys in the five criminal bureaus
- Participate in meaningful work towards the completion of a law degree
- Complete a minimum of 20 hours per week, or as prescribed by the college or school
- Submit required application materials and documentation by the specified deadline
- Complete a writing sample, if selected for an interview (2nd and 3rd year law students only)

Qualifications:
- Enrolled in an accredited ABA law school
- Eligible to receive academic credit or participating in a law school sponsored program (Pro Bono Program, Law School sponsored clinics, Law School Paid Stipend programs, etc.)
- Available to intern a minimum of 20 hours per week, or as prescribed by the college or school
