Job Title: Commercial Counsel

Salary Range: $190,000 - $200,000 annually

Overview:
LiveRamp, the data collaboration platform used by the world's most innovative companies, is seeking a highly-motivated and experienced Commercial Counsel to join our legal team. This role will involve working closely with our sales team to provide legal guidance and support for various commercial agreements. We are looking for someone with strong negotiation skills, a strategic mindset, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement legal strategies that align with business objectives
- Negotiate, draft, and review critical commercial agreements
- Advise management team on legal matters and provide risk management solutions
- Innovate and refine legal processes to enhance efficiency
- Mentor and lead internal legal teams and external advisors
- Act as primary legal contact for major stakeholders

Minimum Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) degree and admission to at least one state bar
- 8-12 years of legal experience, with significant experience in complex commercial transactions
- Expertise in AdTech/MarTech, SaaS, data privacy, and international law
- Strong analytical, negotiation, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strategic thinker with the ability to lead and inspire teams

Preferred Skills:
- In-house legal experience in AdTech/MarTech, SaaS, data, or similar technology sectors
- Expertise in AdTech/MarTech, data, tech transactions, and open source licensing
- Proven track record in a fast-paced, innovation-driven environment
- Pragmatic and proactive approach to navigating complex legal challenges
