Job Overview:

The Personal Injury Attorney will be responsible for client communication, deposition representation, legal research and drafting, leading mediations, and developing case strategies. The role requires the ability to take cases to trial and defend depositions. Duties:

• Engage in effective and clear communication with clients throughout the legal process.
• Take and defend depositions, ensuring thorough preparation and representation.
• Conduct legal research and draft necessary legal documents.
• Lead mediations and negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
• Develop effective case strategies based on legal analysis and client needs.
• Take personal injury cases to trial and advocate for clients in court.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 2+ years of experience practicing personal injury or civil litigation.
• Licensed and in good standing with the Kentucky State Bar.
• Proficient experience in drafting and responding to motions.
• Substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Admission to and good standing with the Kentucky State Bar.

Skills:

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent legal research and writing abilities.
