Corporate Counsel (Transactional) for QuidelOrtho, a leading in vitro diagnostics company with a global presence and a strong focus on employee happiness and engagement. This role offers the opportunity to work with a diverse team and make a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry.

Opportunity to work remotely and join a team of over 6,000 employees in over 130 countries.

Responsibilities:
- Draft and negotiate various contracts, including consulting, services, procurement, commercial, and other complex transactional agreements.
- Advise internal teams on contract structure and provide guidance related to third-party contracts and vendor relationships.
- Respond to inquiries on contract interpretation and provide legal support and training to internal teams.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and identify opportunities for process improvements.
- Keep up-to-date on current regulations, laws, and industry best practices.
- Promote and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- JD degree or equivalent and license to practice law in any of the 50 US states.
- 8+ years of relevant experience in a corporate role or at a national law firm, preferably in the healthcare, medical device, or biopharma industry.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to build relationships and work collaboratively in a large and geographically diverse company.
- Demonstrable knowledge and experience in commercial contracting.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple contracts and timelines.
- Familiarity with general compliance matters is a plus.

Work Environment:
- No strenuous physical activity.
- 30% of time in meetings or on the phone, 70% at the desk on the computer.
- Minimal travel required.

- Compensation decisions are dependent on individual circumstances and alignment with market data.
- Salary range for this position is $126,000 - $214,000 (bonus eligible).
