The Insurance Tax Manager will work with clients in the financial services industry to help them meet their tax obligations while managing the impact of tax on their business.

Experience Information:

Key Responsibilities:
- Provide tax advice to clients in the financial services industry, both locally and globally.
- Navigate complex national and international tax environments related to capital requirements, operational tax risks, and investing in different jurisdictions.
- Help clients with tax structuring and stay up-to-date on constantly changing tax laws and regulations.
- Work as part of a team to solve complex business issues and provide strategic consulting.
- Develop new skills and encourage personal development for team members.
- Analyze complex ideas and provide recommendations based on multiple sources of information.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.
- Utilize technology, automation, and digitization to provide efficient and effective tax services.
- Identify and address client needs and build and maintain relationships to promote new services.
- Supervise teams and provide coaching and feedback to team members.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting.
- Minimum 4 years of experience in the tax industry.
- CPA or Member of the Bar certification required.
- Master's degree in Accounting preferred.
- Thorough knowledge of tax issues affecting the insurance industry.
- Familiarity with FAS 109, FIN 48, tax provision preparation and audit, and corporate and partnership tax compliance.
- Strong technical skills and experience as a tax technical business advisor.
- Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Familiarity with alternative fee arrangements and pricing strategies.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Ability to work in a constantly changing and fast-paced environment.
- Adherence to ethical and professional standards.
- Willingness to travel up to 20% of the time.
