A law firm is seeking a Biotech Patent Agent or Technical Specialist for their Dallas office. The candidate will be part of an expert team, collaborating with others and trained in patent prosecution. They will focus on drafting and prosecuting domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences. Additionally, they will conduct technical research to support clients’ technology and provide technical support for the practice.

 

Duties:

  • Draft and prosecute domestic and foreign patent applications in the fields of biotechnology and life sciences.
  • Conduct technical research to support clients’ technology.
  • Provide technical support for the practice.

 

Requirements:

  • Possess a PhD in a life science discipline.
  • Strong analytical skills and an ability to convey technical ideas concisely and effectively.
  • Law firm or USPTO experience is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills.

 

Education:

PhD in a life science discipline is required.

 

Certifications:

Law firm or USPTO experience is a plus.
