A law firm in Buffalo, NY, is seeking an Insurance Associate Attorney with 1-5 years of experience. The ideal candidate will have experience representing policyholders in insurance coverage matters, including reviewing insurance policies, handling claims, litigating insurance coverage disputes, and/or drafting contractual indemnity and insurance provisions. Familiarity with insurance policies and coverage issues, as well as strong analytical, writing, and communication skills, are required. Experience with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus. A New York Bar license is required. Duties:

  • Represent policyholders in insurance coverage matters.
  • Review insurance policies and assess coverage issues.

  • Conduct legal research and analysis on insurance law issues.

Requirements:

  • 1-5 years of experience in insurance coverage matters.
  • New York Bar license.
  • Experience representing policyholders preferred.
  • Familiarity with insurance policies and coverage issues.
  • Strong analytical, writing, and overall communication skills.
  • Experience with construction insurance coverage and corporate transactional work is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in legal work.

 

Education:

Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

 

Certifications:

New York Bar license.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
