A law firm in Rockford is currently seeking an Attorney with 0-10 years of governmental defense experience. The ideal candidate should hold a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and possess an active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.

Duties:

• Provide legal representation to government entities in defense matters.
• Handle cases involving regulatory compliance, administrative law, and governmental liability.
• Conduct legal research to stay abreast of relevant laws and precedents.
• Draft and review legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and briefs.
• Represent clients in administrative hearings, trials, and appeals.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois and/or Missouri Law license in good standing.
• 0-10 years of relevant experience in governmental defense.
