Position Overview:
- This position is part of the Ethics and Compliance (E&C) group within the Legal Department.
- The Senior Counsel will conduct and participate in internal investigations globally and will help manage the E&C internal investigations program.
- This position reports to the Associate General Counsel, E&C Investigations, Governance, and Operations.
- The candidate selected for this role will have two direct reports - the E&C investigations leads for the APAC and EMEA regions.

Responsibilities:
- Conduct complex internal investigations related to potential employee misconduct.
- Have responsibility for internal investigations in the Americas region and work with other team members on internal investigations in the APAC and EMEA regions.
- Manage the triage of all allegations and reports raised to E&C.
- Collaborate with and manage outside counsel.
- Manage and mentor team members.
- Collaborate with various departments and teams to identify and triage risks.
- Assist with E&C due diligence stemming from the Company’s M&A activity.
- Perform special E&C-related projects on an ad hoc basis.
- Contribute to the refinement, development, and documentation of investigations-related and other compliance processes.

Education & Experience:
- Juris Doctorate (.) from an accredited law school.
- 9+ years of relevant experience, preferably a mix of private practice and in-house roles.
- Experience conducting internal corporate investigations and managing investigation workstreams and resources.
- Experience managing others.
- Knowledge of and experience with anti-corruption, antitrust, and trade compliance laws required.
- Knowledge of and experience with pharmaceutical and medical device regulation preferred.
