Tax-Partnership Allocation Reporting Solutions - Senior Manager A tax services company is looking for a Senior Manager to join their Partnership Allocation and Reporting Solutions practice. This is a full-time position with up to 20% travel required. The Senior Manager will work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping clients with financial reporting, capital market analysis, internal controls, taxation, and advisory services. The ideal candidate will have a Bachelor's degree in Accounting and at least 5 years of experience, as well as a CPA or membership in the Bar. Responsibilities: • Provide expertise in partnership structures and related transactions, such as M&A, IPOs, and spinoffs, for publicly traded partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, and other private partnerships. • Interpret and apply relevant sections of the US Tax Code and regulations related to partnership structures, Up-Cs, and UPREITs. • Consult and model pre- and post-IPOs, as well as a wide range of M&A and equity transactions. • Assist with marketing and business development efforts. • Manage the process for and review federal and state tax returns. • Collaborate with other departments to design and implement systems and process enhancements. • Prepare and review Form 1065 and K-1, utilizing complex spreadsheets and data analytic tools. • Identify and address client needs, actively participate in client meetings, and communicate a broad range of services. • Lead teams and provide guidance and coaching to staff. • Act as a business advisor, developing new relationships and introducing new services. • Utilize automation and digitization tools to improve efficiency and provide insights to clients. • Advance pricing strategy through the use of pricing tools. Qualifications: • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, with additional education in related fields such as Business Administration, Economics, Finance, or International Business considered. • Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax-related roles involving partnership structures and related transactions. • CPA or membership in the Bar required. • Strong knowledge of partnership taxation, including sections 704(b), 704(c), 707, 751, 734, and 743(b) of the US Tax Code. • Experience with consulting and modeling pre- and post-IPOs, as well as M&A and equity transactions. • Excellent communication and report-writing skills. • Ability to work with large, complex data sets and utilize data visualization tools. • Familiarity with CRM systems preferred. • Strong leadership skills and ability to coach and mentor staff. • Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment. • Knowledge of pricing tools and strategies.
