Job Overview:

The Attorney will primarily handle collection, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters, representing clients in legal proceedings. They will be responsible for drafting and reviewing legal documents, conducting legal research, preparing for court appearances, and maintaining communication with clients and other legal professionals.

Duties:

• Represent clients in collection, foreclosure, and bankruptcy matters
• Draft and review legal documents
• Research legal issues and prepare for court
• Communicate effectively with clients and other legal professionals
• Develop and maintain relationships with clients
• Handle multiple legal matters simultaneously
• Generate new business and maintain existing client base

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in the state of Texas
• 2 years of experience in collection and/or bankruptcy law
• Strong writing and computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal skills
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently
• Desire and ability to develop new business
• Comfortable with various software applications
• Portable business is a plus

Education and Certifications:

• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school
• Admission to practice law in the state of Texas
