A law firm based in Chicago is currently seeking a qualified and experienced Corporate-Investment Funds Associate Attorney to join its dynamic legal team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in advising clients on private equity fund formation and related operational matters.

 

Duties:

  • Provide legal counsel and support to clients on private equity fund formation, including drafting and negotiating fund documentation.
  • Conduct legal research to stay abreast of industry trends, regulations, and best practices in investment funds.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys to analyze and structure complex investment transactions.
  • Review and assess fund operational matters, addressing regulatory compliance issues and ensuring adherence to legal standards.

 

Requirements:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on private equity fund formation.
  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Admission to the Illinois Bar or eligibility for admission through reciprocity.
  • Proven track record in providing legal support for investment funds and related corporate transactions.

 

Skills:

  • Excellent drafting and negotiation abilities for fund documentation.
