A law firm is seeking a Junior Disability Associate Attorney in Fort Worth, TX. This role involves representing clients in hearings before Social Security Administrative Law Judges, with hearings comprising approximately half to two-thirds of the workload. The attorney will also be responsible for:

  • Answering client questions and providing guidance
  • Reviewing and developing pre-hearing and hearing-level cases
  • Conducting legal research
  • Writing pre-hearing brief memorandums for disability hearings
  • Drafting appeals council briefs
  • Regular client contact via telephone, in-person, mail, and email
  • Ability to travel to and from hearings in other cities and states, up to 70% of the time

Requirements:

  • Excellent Legal Writing Skills
  • Knowledge of Social Security Disability Law (Preferred)

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
  • State Bar Admission in Texas
