Salary Information:
- The wage range for this role is estimated to be between $84,980 to $193,440, taking into account factors such as skill sets, experience, and training.

Job Title:
- Tax Manager - Business Tax Services - Fed/Corporate Tax (East Region Office Locations)

Experience Information:
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, federal tax accounting and provisions, tax analysis, and tax research
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Position Summary:
- Strategic and creative federal tax professional
- Solving complex federal tax issues
- Providing federal tax compliance and consulting services to large global and dynamic midsize clients across various industries
- Working directly with clients, managing tax engagement team, and having access to a strong support system from firm leadership
- Co-locating in person 2-3 days per week in a hybrid work model

Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and developing strong client relationships
- Advising clients on tax issues including income taxes, FTA, tax provisions, compliance, business restructuring, and tax controversy
- Overseeing complex federal tax compliance and consulting projects
- Managing engagement workflow, team resources, and billing
- Providing leadership, counseling, and career guidance for engagement team development and motivation

The Team:
- Dynamic team with professionals of varying backgrounds
- Providing expertise to clients for integrating tax strategy into business operations
- Working within individual risk profiles
- Assisting with global tax challenges and transforming tax department for greater impact and efficiency
- Relevant for public and private companies, offering services such as tax planning, compliance, controversy and risk management, research and development, government incentives, and tax management consulting

Qualifications:
- Ability to perform in a hybrid work model
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in federal tax compliance, accounting, provisions, analysis, and research
- Ability to travel up to 25% for work
- Active accreditation in one of the following: CPA, Attorney, Enrolled Agent, Chartered Financial Advisor (CFA), Certified Financial Planner (CFP)

Preferred Qualifications:
- Advanced degree such as Masters of Tax, JD, or LLM
- Solid understanding of ASC740 for accounting for income taxes
- Previous experience at a Big 4 or large CPA firm
- Strong management experience
- Excellent research, writing, presentation, and communication skills
