- Prosecute a variety of crimes, including traffic violations, drug offenses, and violent crimes
- Represent the state in all aspects of criminal cases in Carter County and occasionally in other counties
- Advise county officials as needed
- Collaborate with other attorneys, staff, law enforcement, and partner agencies
- Minimum requirements: Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school and good standing with Oklahoma Bar Association; strong writing and research skills; ability to communicate effectively with various parties; pass a background check with no criminal history
- Prior prosecution experience preferred but not required
