As a Legal Counsel for Apple Cash at Apple, you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team and contribute to the development of innovative products and services. Your role will involve providing guidance on a range of product and regulatory matters, drafting and negotiating agreements, and helping the team navigate the complex financial services industry. Key Responsibilities:

• Support the Wallet, Payments, and Commerce team in developing and launching new initiatives for Apple Cash and related consumer financial products and services.
• Act as a regulatory product counsel, providing strategic guidance on existing products and new initiatives.
• Draft and negotiate complex commercial agreements and terms and conditions for consumer financial products and services.
• Interact with federal and state financial regulators and examiners.
• Provide product counseling for mobile wallets, digital payments systems, alternative payments, or other similar financial products and services.
• Help the team understand and navigate the regulatory environment for banks, bank service providers, payment networks, and other participants in the consumer finance industry.

Key Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of financial services laws and regulations, including those overseen by the CFPB, FinCEN, and state and federal banking regulators.
• Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements and terms and conditions for consumer financial products and services.
• Experience interacting with federal and state financial regulators and examiners.
• Experience providing product counseling for mobile wallets, digital payments systems, alternative payments, or other similar financial products and services.
• Knowledge of the structure and operation of payment network rules.
• Strong interpersonal and project management skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a cross-functional group.
• Practical business judgment and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent writing, communication, and presentation skills.
• High degree of comfort with financial and workplace technology, including project management and collaboration tools and applications.
• At least 3-5 years of relevant experience in financial services laws and regulations, drafting and negotiating commercial agreements, and interacting with financial regulators and examiners.

Education & Experience:

• and admission to at least one US state bar.
