With a national presence and a diverse range of responsibilities in consumer and corporate bankruptcy cases, the USTP is uniquely positioned to address multi-jurisdictional misconduct and other issues of national scope. Job Description and Responsibilities: As a Law Student Volunteer, you will have the opportunity to work in either the Executive Office for . Trustees (EOUST) or one of the 89 field offices located throughout the country. In the EOUST, you will work directly with the Director or Deputy Director for Field Operations on a variety of projects and studies related to consumer and chapter 11 bankruptcy law. This may include conducting legal research, analyzing data, and assisting with preparations for public speeches and presentations. In the field offices, you will assist attorneys with a range of tasks, such as preparing for court appearances, developing fraud referrals, and monitoring debtor-creditor meetings. Qualifications: To be considered for this position, you must be a second- or third-year law student with excellent research and writing skills, attention to detail, and a desire to work as part of a team.
