Job Overview:
The Litigation Attorney will represent clients in civil litigation matters, specifically focusing on the defense of third-party auto cases. The role involves handling all aspects of litigation, including case management, legal research, discovery, and court appearances.
Duties:
- Represent clients in civil litigation cases, primarily focusing on third-party auto matters.
- Conduct legal research and analysis to provide sound legal advice to clients.
- Draft legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
- Manage a caseload from inception to resolution, including trial preparation and court appearances.
- Negotiate settlements and participate in alternative dispute resolution processes.
- Maintain communication with clients, opposing counsel, and the court throughout the litigation process.
Requirements:
- Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited Law School.
- Admitted to practice law in New Jersey.
- 3-4 years of civil litigation experience, focusing on defending third-party auto cases.
- Knowledge of New Jersey no-fault law and insurance laws.
