Job Overview: A law firm specializing in assisting personal injury and medical negligence victims seeks a skilled Plaintiff's Civil Litigation Lawyer to handle cases and tasks within the firm. The ideal candidate will have 2-5 years of litigation experience and be licensed to practice law in Ohio or a recent graduate who has taken the Ohio Bar exam.

Duties:

• Represent plaintiffs in civil litigation cases related to personal injury and medical negligence.
• Conducted legal research and drafted legal documents such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.
• Attend hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.
• Manage case files and ensure deadlines are met.
• Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients when appropriate.
• Collaborate with other attorneys and staff members within the firm.

Requirements:

• Ohio law license or recent graduate who has taken the Ohio Bar exam.
• 2-5 years of litigation experience, preferably in plaintiff-side civil litigation.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently and manage a caseload effectively.

Education:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

• Ohio Bar admission or eligibility to sit for the Ohio Bar exam.
