The Senior Counsel will need to have superior communication and drafting skills, as well as prior experience successfully operating in a fast-paced and fluid environment. A Bachelor's degree is required, with a preference for a Master's degree, and a Juris Doctor (JD) in law is required. The ideal candidate will also have prior experience in a law firm or agency, including trial experience as first or second chair.

In this role, the Senior Counsel will act as a company advocate and advisor with respect to litigation matters and interpret laws and judicial decisions as they relate to company business. They will also communicate frequently with and advise internal clients of the company.

- Reviewing pleadings and motions, responding to discovery, and preparing witnesses for hearings and trials
- Collaborating with attorneys in Commercial, Compliance, HSE, Employment, and IP departments
- Advising the business on potential disputes and their resolutions
- Conducting litigation investigations, including developing investigation plans and conducting witness interviews
- Selecting, retaining, and partnering with outside counsel as needed
