This role will be responsible for overseeing all corporate legal matters and will report directly to the General Counsel. We are looking for someone with a deep understanding of corporate law and extensive in-house experience who can successfully build relationships across legal functions and the broader company. Responsibilities: - Ensure compliance with securities laws, rules, and regulations, including listing requirements - Provide legal oversight for quarterly earnings and investor relations related disclosures - Advise the Board of Directors and committees on corporate governance best practices - Oversee financing and strategic transactions, including mergers and acquisitions - Support management of subsidiary entities - Provide legal counsel to departments such as Finance, Accounting, Tax, Insurance, and Investor Relations - Lead a small but impactful corporate team Qualifications: - 15+ years of experience as a corporate securities or corporate transactions attorney, preferably in a public company - Strong commitment to fostering a diverse, equitable, and inclusive work environment - Excellent communication skills, with the ability to simplify and present complex ideas to various stakeholders - Proven track record of prioritizing and delivering on high-impact priorities while mitigating risks - Experience building and leading a team with empathy, collaboration, and mutual respect - Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment and navigating ambiguity - Intellectually curious, humble, and able to take on tasks of any size About DoorDash: DoorDash is a technology and logistics company that empowers local economies by providing fast and convenient delivery services for a range of goods.
