Job Overview: A law firm in Boston, MA, seeks a Mid-level Litigation Associate Attorney to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for collaborating with team members on various aspects of litigation and arbitration, showcasing strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle a diverse range of legal tasks.

Duties:

• Work collaboratively with team members on all phases of litigation and arbitration
• Draft pleadings, motions, and discovery documents
• Conduct legal research to support case strategies
• Take and defend depositions
• Analyze information produced in the discovery
• Assist with court appearances and eventually handle court appearances independently
• Brainstorm with team members to develop effective strategies for each case

Requirements:

• Admitted to and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
• JD required
• 4-5 years of experience as a litigation attorney
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent research, drafting, writing, and communication skills
• Experience drafting various legal documents, including pleadings, discovery requests, responses, and memoranda of law
• Attention to detail with strong analytical ability and intellectual curiosity
• Strong project management skills, balancing multiple priorities effectively
• Team player with exposure to sophisticated disputes and investigations
• Experience with depositions and court proceedings is a plus
• International experience is a plus
• Proficiency with Excel and PowerPoint is a plus

Education:

• Juris Doctor (JD) required

Certifications:

• Admitted to and in good standing with the Massachusetts Bar
