Houston office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks an electrical engineering/software/computer science patent prosecution associate attorney with 4 years of experience. The candidate will assist in all aspects of global portfolio strategy and management, including obtaining IP rights in the US and abroad. The candidate must have IP experience with drafting and patent prosecution, a computer science, electrical engineering, or similar (advanced degrees and/or work experience prior to law school/agency exam strongly preferred), and USPTO membership. Should have a strong knowledge of software, controls, and controller systems. Electro-mechanical equipment experience is a plus. Must be licensed to practice law in Texas or have the ability to become licensed as soon as possible. Knowledge and experience with other forms of intellectual property protection are a plus.
