Garland office of our client seeks a personal injury attorney with 3+ years of experience pre-suit and litigating personal injury on the plaintiff's side. The candidate will litigate a personal injury case from start to finish. Will have client communication, negotiating settlements, overseeing support staff and files, taking depositions, research, and drafting, leading mediations, developing case strategies, and taking cases to trial. Work closely with our clients to understand the extent of their injuries, negotiate with insurance companies and opposing counsel, and represent our clients in court. Manage a caseload of personal injury cases, including auto accidents, slip and falls, premises liability claims, and wrongful death cases. Drafting and responding to discovery, drafting motions and motion responses, legal research, and legal writing. Work with experts from various medical and other disciplines to assist with report drafting, deposition preparation, etc. Experience drafting and responding to motions. Should have substantial knowledge of Rules of Civil Procedure and Rules of Evidence. Exceptional attention to detail, strong writing, and legal research skills are needed. Must be licensed and in good standing with the Texas State Bar.
