Duties:

  • Train employers on best practices for compliance with employment laws and regulations.
  • Stay abreast of developments in employment law and proactively advise clients on potential impacts to their businesses.

Requirements:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
  • 1-6 years of experience practicing employment law.
  • Strong knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience representing clients in employment-related litigation and administrative proceedings.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active membership in the New York State Bar or eligibility for admission via reciprocity.
