Assocate General Counsel, Litigation and Employment Law Salary Information: - Competitive compensation package offered - Family friendly benefits included - Opportunities for advancement and growth - Pre-employment drug screening required - Background and motor vehicle checks may be required Job Title: - Associate General Counsel, Litigation and Employment Law Experience: - Minimum of 7 years of relevant legal experience required - Experience in litigation and/or employment law preferred - Knowledge of potential risks and mitigation methods/strategies within the AEC industry preferred Responsibilities: - Manage, resolve, and avoid disputes, claims, and litigation - Advise and assist on client non-payment and subconsultant defaults - Initiate and manage initiatives to prevent litigation - Collaborate with all levels of staff to advise on employment law matters - Investigate and prepare reports on allegations of legal wrongdoing - Review and negotiate contracts with internal stakeholders and third parties Qualifications: - Juris Doctor degree from an ABA accredited law school required - Member in good standing with any . state bar required - Strong interpersonal, communication, organizational, and analytical skills - Ability to effectively manage multiple matters simultaneously and maintain attention to detail Expectations: - Comply with all KCI policies and procedures - Operate within specified budget parameters - Meet with legal counsel periodically - Report directly to General Counsel - Visit KCI's tier one offices regularly - Attend semi-annual managers meeting KCI Technologies, Inc. is an equal opportunity employer, encouraging diversity and inclusion in the workplace.
