Position Summary:

Deloitte is seeking a Tax Senior for our Private Wealth Tax practice. This role involves providing compliance and consulting services to high net worth individuals and their trusts, estates, family offices, and closely-held businesses. The Tax Senior will also assist in client meetings and research projects related to tax planning opportunities and implications.

What You'll Do:

- Perform high-level reviews of tax research and returns for individual, fiduciary, partnership, closely-held corporations, estate, and gift work.
- Prepare for and assist in client meetings for compliance and consulting projects.
- Provide solutions to complex tax issues.
- Co-locate in person 2-3 days per week in a hybrid work model.
- Travel up to 25% based on client needs.

The Team:

Deloitte's Private Wealth team specializes in providing wealth transfer planning advice to ultra-affluent clients, including multigenerational families, entrepreneurs, family offices, and closely-held business owners. The team helps clients make strategic decisions related to their personal financial comfort, business and investment needs, family legacy, and charitable giving.

Qualifications:

- 3+ years of experience in tax planning or preparation and review of tax returns.
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
- Active accreditation such as CPA, licensed attorney, enrolled agent, CFA, or CFP.
- Ability to travel up to 25% on average.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Advanced degree in taxation or related field.
- Prior experience in a Big 4 firm.
- Experience reviewing partnership and/or trust documents.
- Project management experience.
- Strong technology, research, and writing skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to articulate conclusions and planning opportunities.

Salary Information:

The wage range for this role takes into account various factors such as skill sets, experience, and certifications. The estimated range is $63,420 to $144,300.

Annual Incentive Program:

Eligible employees may participate in a discretionary annual incentive program, subject to various factors including individual and organizational performance.
