This individual will work with clients in the asset management industry, focusing on private equity funds, hedge funds, and/or FoF clients. Responsibilities:

- Review and analyze complex partnership tax returns for Private Equity, Hedge Fund, and/or FoF clients
- Train, develop, mentor, and coach junior employees as a Career Advisor
- Communicate technical tax information in a non-technical manner to clients and manage risk for both the client and the firm
- Serve as the Tax client service coordinator for appropriate clients
- Advise clients on a full range of tax services, including planning, research, compliance, and mergers and acquisitions activities
- Review research findings and ensure compliance with firm policies and professional standards
- Assist with new business development and identify tax issues for existing clients
- Manage client needs in collaboration with cross-functional engagement teams
- Stay up-to-date on current tax practices and changes in tax law

Required Qualifications:

- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or related field
- 5+ years of experience in business taxation at a Big 4 or large national, regional, or local accounting firm; or equivalent industry or law firm experience
- Active CPA, JD/LLM, or EA certification
- Prior tax compliance and consulting experience with Asset Management clients
- Working knowledge of tax code and technical aspects of tax preparation and compliance
- Ability to communicate with clients and collect necessary information for tax services
- Proven track record managing client engagements

- Master's Degree in Accounting, Taxation, or MBA
