A law firm in Las Vegas, NV, is seeking an Attorney. The Attorney will be responsible for handling general litigation matters, including business litigation, plaintiff EEOC cases, plaintiff personal injury cases, and family law matters. They should possess strong verbal and written communication skills, negotiation abilities, and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to collaborate effectively with colleagues to serve clients.

 

Duties:

  • Prepare contracts, briefs, motions, and other legal documents
  • Conduct legal research to support case preparation
  • Prepare for, attend, and argue motions at hearings
  • Provide legal counsel to clients on various legal matters
  • Negotiate on behalf of clients to reach favorable outcomes
  • Maintain detailed and accurate client records
  • Supervise paralegals and administrative assistants in case management

 

Requirements:

  • Must be licensed to practice law in Nevada
  • 2+ years of experience in general litigation
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to collaborate with colleagues to best serve clients

 

Education & Certifications:

Juris Doctor (.) from an accredited law school
