Overview:

PwC is seeking a Senior Manager for their Partnership Allocation and Reporting Solutions practice within their Tax Services division. This role will involve advising clients on local and international tax affairs, managing indirect taxes, and providing strategic consulting related to business analysis. The Senior Manager will also be responsible for helping clients access capital markets and enhance the process of taking their Complex Partnership Solutions public. This position requires expertise in financial reporting, capital market analysis, internal controls, taxation, and advisory services.

Responsibilities:

- Work as part of a team of problem solvers, helping to solve complex business issues from strategy to execution.
- Encourage everyone on the team to have a voice and invite opinions from all members, including quieter team members.
- Effectively handle ambiguous and unstructured problems and situations.
- Initiate open and candid coaching conversations at all levels.
- Easily switch between big picture thinking and managing relevant details.
- Anticipate stakeholder needs and develop potential solutions, even before the stakeholder realizes they are required.
- Contribute technical knowledge in the area of partnership structures and related transactions.
- Create an environment where people and technology can thrive together to accomplish more than they could apart.
- Navigate the complexities of cross-border and/or diverse teams and engagements.
- Initiate and lead open conversations with teams, clients, and stakeholders to build trust.
- Uphold the firm's code of ethics and business conduct.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or other business-related field such as Business Administration/Management, Economics, Finance, International Business, Management, or Quantitative Finance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in tax-related intricacies of partnership structures and related transactions within publicly traded partnerships, private equity funds, hedge funds, and/or other private partnerships.
- CPA or Member of the Bar certification required.
- Strong knowledge of US Tax Code sections and associated regulations related to partnership structures, Up-Cs and UPREITs (704(b), 704(c), 707, 751, 734, 743(b)).
- Experience consulting and modeling pre- and post-IPOs, as well as a wide range of M&A and equity transactions.
- Experience with marketing and business development efforts.
- Ability to interpret, prepare, and process multiple information to calculate partnership allocations, and review and reconcile outcomes.
- Experience managing the process for and reviewing Federal and State tax returns.
- Strong report-writing skills and ability to communicate complex information to various audiences.
- Ability to identify and address client needs, actively participate in client discussions and meetings, and balance project economics management with unanticipated issues.
- Experience leading teams and promoting continuous improvement and innovation.
- Familiarity with CRM systems preferred.
- Strong knowledge of automation and digitization in a professional services environment.
- Experience utilizing digitization tools to reduce hours and optimize engagements.
- Familiarity with pricing strategies and alternative fee arrangements.
- Ability to work with large, complex data sets and leverage data visualization tools to provide insights to clients.
