Responsibilities:

- Participate in engagements requiring tax analysis for various entities and affiliates
- Analyze and deploy innovative technologies and processes for client engagements
- Research and analyze a wide range of tax issues while working closely with engagement teams and partners
- Manage and deliver tax advisory and consulting services to clients
- Interact with domestic and international engagement teams to ensure proper staffing and participation

Deloitte's National Federal Tax Services (NFTS) is a national practice that offers a variety of tax services to clients. The team is made up of entrepreneurial and innovative individuals with a work-hard/play-hard mentality. Tax professionals at Deloitte use the DART technology solution to help clients with tax cost recovery calculations and planning. This team specializes in fixed asset-centric tax services, including assisting with annual and interim tax cost recovery computations, preparing state tax depreciation schedules, and utilizing advanced global tax depreciation data analytics.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work in a hybrid model, co-locating in person 2-3 days per week
- Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field
- Ability to travel up to 20% on average
- Active accreditation such as CPA, attorney, enrolled agent, or alternative certification
- Advanced degree and/or experience with tax depreciation software preferred
- Strong research and communication skills
- Previous experience with a Big 4 or large CPA firm preferred
