Job Overview: A law firm seeks a dynamic and experienced construction litigation attorney to join its nationally recognized practice. The successful candidate will represent clients in construction, surety, and fidelity litigation, providing comprehensive legal counsel from case inception to resolution.

Duties:

  • Represent clients in construction, surety, and fidelity litigation matters.
  • Provide legal counsel and representation throughout the litigation process, from case initiation to resolution.
  • Conduct legal research, draft pleadings, motions, and other legal documents.
  • Prepare for and participate in discovery, depositions, hearings, and trials.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and clients to develop case strategies and tactics.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, opposing counsel, and the court.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 3+ years of experience handling commercial litigation, focusing on Construction, surety, and insurance litigation.
  • Demonstrated litigation skills, including drafting pleadings, conducting discovery, and trial preparation.
  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar is required; admission to the New Jersey Bar is a plus.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment.
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities.

Education:

  • Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school.

Certifications:

  • Admission to the Pennsylvania Bar.
  • Admission to the New Jersey Bar (preferred).

Skills:

  • Legal research and writing.
