##Legal Internships The Wisconsin Court System provides an excellent opportunity for first and second-year law students to gain valuable practical experience in their field. The court system offers unpaid summer internships to work with circuit court judges. Not only do interns gain valuable experience, but they also get to enjoy a summer in Wisconsin with its wonderful weather and recreational opportunities. Law schools may offer credits for completing the internships. The application deadline for the 2024 Volunteer Summer Law Student Internship Program is January 31, 2024. ###Application Requirements The following information is required when applying for the internship: - Name - Law School - Current Address - Telephone - Email Address - Permanent Address - Dates Available for Internship - Location Desired (see attached map) - 1st Choice County - 2nd Choice County - 3rd Choice County - Preferred Court Assignment - Interests Applications should be emailed to by January 31, 2024. ###Benefits of the Internship Interns at the Wisconsin Court System receive a wide range of benefits from the internship: - Gain valuable practical experience in the legal field - Enjoy a summer in Wisconsin with its wonderful weather and recreational opportunities - Law schools may offer credits for completing the internships ###Compensation The Wisconsin Court System does not provide any compensation for the internship.
