Assistant District Attorney at Kings County District Attorney’s Office

The Kings County District Attorney’s Office is accepting applications for the position of Assistant District Attorney. Located in the Metrotech area of Brooklyn, New York, the Kings County District Attorney’s Office serves the more than million people of Brooklyn and is one of the largest prosecutor’s offices in the country.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full range of cases, including some of the most complex and cutting edge


• Learn from some of the most respected and renowned attorneys in the public sector


• Be given as much responsibility as you can handle

Qualifications

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school


• Admission to practice law in the State of New York


• Strong knowledge of criminal law and procedure


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Excellent oral and written communication skills


• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other computer applications

Compensation
