A law firm in Chicago, IL, is seeking a seasoned Litigation Associate Attorney III to join their team. The candidate will handle a substantial caseload of class action and commercial litigation matters, demonstrating strong legal research skills, attention to detail, and proficiency in both state and federal court procedures.

Duties:

• Handle a substantial caseload of class action and commercial litigation matters
• Draft, prepare, and handle pleadings, motions, orders, and legal memoranda
• Draft and respond to written discovery and dispositive motions
• Conduct legal research competently and proficiently
• Prepare and take depositions of parties and experts
• Review client documents, draft case evaluations, and status report correspondence
• Assist with and participate in mediations and court appearances

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor (.) degree from an accredited law school
• 4+ years of licensure experience
• Class action or commercial litigation experience preferred
• Strong legal research and analytical skills
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Attention to detail with superb organization and prioritization skills
• Knowledge of both state and federal court procedures
