The Litigation Attorney will be responsible for handling legal matters related to civil rights cases. The ideal candidate should possess a Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school and hold an active State of Illinois Law license in good standing. The candidate should have 3-7 years of experience in civil rights litigation.

Duties:

• Represent clients in civil rights cases, including discrimination, harassment, and constitutional violations.
• Conduct thorough legal research to support case strategy.
• Draft and file legal documents, such as complaints, motions, and briefs.
• Attend court hearings, trials, and alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
• Provide legal advice and guidance to clients on civil rights issues.
• Collaborate with clients, experts, and other legal professionals.

Requirements:

• Juris Doctor degree from an ABA-accredited law school.
• Active State of Illinois Law license in good standing.
• 3-7 years of experience in civil rights litigation.
• In-depth knowledge of civil rights laws, regulations, and legal precedents.
