Garden City office of a BCG Attorney Search Top Ranked Law Firm seeks junior to mid-level privacy, cybersecurity and technology associate attorney with 3+ years of experience. The candidate should have experience in the following: advising clients on privacy and technology matters, including drafting and reviewing privacy policies, CCPA notices, data processing agreements, consumer consent language, cookie notices, cookie policies and website terms of use; drafting and reviewing technology agreements such as software, website and/or mobile application development agreements and Software-as-a-Service agreements. Drafting and reviewing cybersecurity policies and documentation such as written information security policies, incident response plans, responses to cybersecurity audits, incident response reports and breach notification letters, as well as knowledge of state breach notification laws and cybersecurity regulations, a plus. Must be well versed in privacy regulations, including state privacy laws (. CCPA), federal privacy laws (. HIPAA, FCRA, COPPA), and GDPR. Understanding of cybersecurity standards (. NIST Cybersecurity Framework), software and website development processes, common types of cybersecurity attacks, and basic cybersecurity safeguards, from either legal or non-legal experience a significant plus.
