A law firm in Philadelphia, PA is seeking a Junior-level Associate Attorney with 3+ years of experience, preferably in insurance coverage, monitoring, and litigation. The ideal candidate will possess strong attention to detail, excellent oral and written communication skills, and a desire to engage in marketing and thought leadership efforts.

 

Job Duties:

  • Handle insurance coverage, monitoring, and litigation matters in various lines including financial institutions, directors & officers, professional liability, and more
  • Conduct legal research, analysis, and writing on complex insurance issues
  • Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other legal documents
  • Participate in client meetings, depositions, hearings, and trials
  • Collaborate with partners, senior associates, and support staff on case management
  • Engage in marketing and thought leadership efforts through practice-related publications, professional associations, client presentations, and speaking engagements

 

Requirements:

  • JD required from an accredited law school
  • Licensed to practice law in New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and/or California
  • 3+ years of experience preferred, with a focus on insurance coverage, monitoring, or litigation
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Interest in marketing and thought leadership activities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team

 

Education and Certifications:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school
  • Admission to the State Bar of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Florida, Texas, Illinois, and/or California

 

Skills:

  • Excellent writing, research, and analytical skills
  • Familiarity with insurance coverage principles and litigation procedures
