Responsibilities:

- Advise clients and deliver high-quality tax services
- Play a key role in growing KPMG's Private Enterprise Group, focused on early, middle, and late-stage growth companies backed by private equity and venture capital, and owner-operated middle market businesses
- Review and analyze corporate and/or partnership returns for fast growth start-ups, venture capital, private-equity businesses, and/or owner-managed companies
- Act as a trusted advisor on current and future tax considerations for privately held corporations and partnerships
- Manage multiple client engagement teams and maintain communication with clients to ensure satisfaction
- Contribute to the growth and process improvement of the Private Enterprise tax practice
- Mentor, coach, and manage a team of talented tax professionals

Qualifications:

- Minimum five years of corporate and/or partnership tax experience in an accounting firm, corporate tax department, or law firm
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
- Licensed CPA, EA, or JD/LLM preferred; other approved credentials may be considered
- Demonstrated track record of business development and maintaining client relationships
- Experience leading multiple engagements and developing and mentoring staff
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
