Roles and Responsibilities:

- Competently represent clients in all assigned cases with a focus on tort practice.
- Handle cases of moderate to great complexity and/or exposure, including preparation of pleadings, motions, discovery, and attendance at hearings and trials.
- May assist other attorneys in assigned cases and functionally supervise their work.
- Consult with and provide opinions to Claims Departments on insurance policy and personal injury claim matters.
- Keep supervisor informed of work and any issues encountered.
- Maintain and update computerized litigation support systems.
- Perform other assigned tasks.

Requirements:

- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Bachelor's degree and law school degree required.
- Member in good standing of State Bar in the state of employment.
- At least three years of experience as an Attorney, including civil jury trial or ADR experience.
- Ability to handle cases of moderate to great exposure and/or complexity with minimum supervision.
- Strong public speaking skills and ability to handle high case loads in adversarial or confrontational situations.
- Valid driver's license.
