This full-time position offers up to 20% travel and is located in Detroit, MI. As a member of the International Tax Services team, you will have the opportunity to work with PwC clients on their cross-border tax needs, providing advice on global tax rates, cost reduction strategies, and responding to regulatory inquiries. You will also gain a global perspective and knowledge of tax issues related to evolving business structures and geographic expansions. A Juris Doctorate (JD), Master of Laws (LLM), or Master's degree in Accounting or Taxation may also be considered. You must also have a CPA certification or a commitment to pass the CPA exam and obtain licensure. If you are a lawyer, you must be a member of the Bar. Preferred Knowledge and Skills: • Thorough knowledge of corporate tax, including tax research, compliance, and consulting in an international environment • Comprehensive technical skills in structural realignment, effective tax rate analysis, and improving tax efficiencies for cross-border transactions • Experience as a team leader, supervising and coaching staff and providing feedback • Ability to research business and industry trends and develop a point of view to assist with proposals • Exposure to pricing, client value, and negotiation processes • Experience with automation and digitization in a professional services environment • Knowledge of public accounting practices, law firms, or corporate tax departments for multinational companies Salary Information: The salary range for this position is $62,000 - $100,000 USD for a full-time, 40-hour work week.
